Double Cask American Oak – Ex-PX Sherry and Ardbeg barrels 44% ABV
Nose:
Dates, figs and smoked honey ribs.
Palate:
Prep yourself for a rollercoaster ride! Starts off with laderach hazelnut dark chocolate, with some sour cherries sandwiched in between, and then ripe plums and roasted nuts take centrestage.
Finish:
Reminds me of the maple & pecan vanilla ice-cream I just had last night, with a smoked cinnamon stick thrown in for good measure (Am I in a 2 michelin fine-dining restaurant? Just acting bougie – don’t mind me. 🤣)
