Double Cask American Oak – Ex-Tawny Port & Ardbeg barrels 56% ABV
Nose:
Smoked applewood and dried figs.
Palate:
Chewy & meaty with a big punch at the start, gradually transitioning into the best bits of smoked barbequed meats infused with sugar, spice and everything nice. Brings me back to fond memories of Chinese New Year aiming for the burnt corners of Bakkwa.
Finish:
Akin to savoring sweet muscat grapes at a bonfire, against the backdrop of burning ember.
