Double Cask American Oak – Ex- Tawny Port & Maple barrels 53.4% ABV
Nose:
Dark chocolate and marzipan nuts infused with maple liqueur .
Palate:
Maple – maple – maple. The gift that keeps on giving, with berries as icing on the cake.
Finish:
Always dancing within the lines, not once crossing the boundaries of overt hair-standing sweetness which ports are traditionally associated with. Great as a post-dinner aperitif with an added dimension of complexity.
