Nose:
Highly expressive from the outset. Fresh strawberries immediately evoke strawberry ice cream, followed by raw almonds, marzipan, whipped cream, and crisp meringue, bringing to mind a freshly made summer pavlova. With a few drops of water, the nose becomes sweeter and creamier, with the dairy notes becoming even more pronounced.
Palate:
The alcohol is evident but exceptionally well integrated. Rich dark chocolate and stewed prunes provide depth beneath the dominant strawberries and cream character. The balance between fruit, sweetness, and oak is excellent, making the spirit both elegant and indulgent.
Finish:
Long, smooth, and beautifully balanced. Strawberry cream, chocolate, almond, and soft baking spice linger, making this feel like a superb after-dinner dram.
